Watching Amityville II: The Possession

For me this was one of the scariest stories I have ever read, watched, whatever. To me II is as good as the first Amityville, and as scary  and disturbing as The Exorcist. Evil spirit that dwells in a home and overtakes the family, it is a terrifying thought.
The house is beautiful. Every time I see a home with these windows in the upper area I think of Amityville Horror.
Meeting the family and getting to know the house.
The mother begins to experience strange things right off the bat. A presence and evil touch. The basement is a very bad place.
A very lucky family!-But are they? Really? They begin experiencing bad things in the house. They start to turn on each other with violent outbursts. Sounds like Pazuzu to me.
"DISHONOR THY FATHER!"
The priest is called to the house for a blessing. However the house doesn't want any of it. The house wants sonny!
The hand coming out of the foundation bricks is terrifying to say the least. The voices, whispering, and evil laughter all around, the things of nightmares. Also of schizophrenia too.
The only thing about this movie that bugs me is the incest thing with the brother and sister. I guess that would be a strong sign of possession though.
"He does it to hurt...to hurt GOD!"
When the house finally is blessed, it just pisses the spirit off.
Approval for an Exorcism, and finally the demonic spirit truly possesses Sonny.
The spirit forces Sonny to kill his family one by one.
The priest leaves his retreat to return to town only to discover a massacre.
And so begins the exorcism of Sonny.
The priest helps the boy escape the hospital only to have him run off back to the house. The priest saves the boys soul but loses his own-or does he?
It is really a great possession and haunting movie.
